What we look at

A straight answer first.

Some houses need a full duct cleaning. Some need one part of the system looked at. Some do not need much at all. The inspection sorts out which.

  • Supply registers and return grilles
  • The duct runs and trunk lines we can reach
  • The plenums at the unit
  • Signs of moisture or mold
BeforeThe end of a trunk line and two branch takeoffs before cleaning, dust across the floor of the duct
AfterThe same trunk line after cleaning, bare galvanized steel and clean liner
A trunk line and its branch takeoffs, before and after.
What we look for

Buildup you can’t see.

Most of the ductwork is out of sight. These Dirty Ductz photos show what can sit inside a trunk line, and the same line after cleaning.

BeforeA duct run before cleaning, with grey buildup along the bottom and the cleaning hose in the run
AfterA long duct run after cleaning, the liner clean all the way down
A supply run, before and after.
